CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENTS:
Metro Cab of Memphis is looking for friendly, dependable, customer service-oriented individuals for our 24/7 taxi call center. Candidates must be familiar with a keyboard and able to type proficiently, handle large call volumes, assist customer, by phone, and multi-task.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answers the telephone following a script
Assists customers by phone who are ordering a cab or inquiring on our service.
Gives customer rate quotes when asked.
Checks on the status of the cab when customer callback.
Dispatches cabs via a computerized dispatch system by entering required information using a keyboard.
Answers the main business line when needed and transfers callers to the appropriate areas.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1 to 3 months experience and/or training in a high volume call center.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.Must be proficient in speaking and understanding the English language. Spanish bilingual is not required, but is a plus.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must be familiar with a keyword and able to type proficiently. General knowledge of the Memphis Area and surrounding areas required.
